Ralph Waldo Emerson

My name is Di'el (pronounced Dye-el or di-yell if you say it fast) and I am 19, going on 20. My birthday is coming up on March 11, ayy Pisces gang, represent! I am from Atlanta, Georgia and I am a rising junior at the illustrious Spelman College, majoring in psychology and minoring in theater. I have a lot of hobbies and they mostly include artsy, crafty things, some of which I turn into cashflow. I cannot live without music and singing, even though some can't stand my voice, the decency is up to you... I like to say I can match pitches pretty well so sometimes it sounds good (always, in my head unless it cracks) or it doesn't, you decide. Enough about my voice, my passions are helping people in every way I can and striving for mutual love, respect, peace, understanding, empathy, and unity amongst all humans, animals, and Mother Earth herself. I want to one day open a school (starting at the earliest age, ending at graduation age) to plant these seeds in future young, and even older, people along with other values that I believe will 1. truly teach a child how to be productive/successful members of society for themselves and others by the end of the course and 2. be our key as humankind to reach oneness and harmony. Everything I do is in an effort to pave a road and build a platform where I can share my ideas, ones that I really think can have a beneficial impact on society. After all, we are tomorrow's leaders and way-makers; change starts yesterday. Please enjoy as I share my perspective on this world as a young Hispanic, indigenous, Caribbean, pansexual, cisgender, somewhat Baha'i, and most obvious and definitely not least, Afro-American woman... you may be surprised *insert shrug emoji here.*
